Need - Carrie Jones

Zara White suspects there's a freaky guy semi-stalking her. She's also obsessed with phobias. And it's true, she hasn't exactly been herself since her stepfather died. But exiling her to shivery Maine to live with her grandmother? That seems a bit extreme. The move is supposed to help her stay sane...but Zara's pretty sure her mom just can't deal with her right now.

She couldn't be more wrong. Turns out the semi-stalker is not a figment of Zara's overactive imagination. In fact, he's still following her, leaving behind an eerie trail of gold dust. There's something not right - not human - in this sleepy Maine town, and all signs point to Zara.

Love, love, LOVE. I've never devoured a book this quickly since I first read Twilight. At first I was a little hesitant because I normally don't like books about pixies and such but it got such rave reviews in the book community on YouTube that I thought I needed to try it and I'm so glad I did.

All of the characters were so likeable, especially Essie - she was my favorite. This book has everything you could ask for - action, drama, love, and mysterious boys with amazing good looks! ;] I read this book on Easter and finished in a couple hours. Carrie Jones has an amazing way of writing and totally sucks you in. I loved the beginning of chapters with the fears. So clever.

This is easily one of my favorite series of 2010!
